We are so excited that writer and professor Kerry Neville will be offering prose consultations this spring! Kerry Neville is the author of the award-winning short fiction collections, Remember to Forget Meand Necessary Lies. Her fiction and essays have appeared in The Gettysburg Review, TriQuarterly, Epoch, The Huffington Post,The Washington Post, and The Fix.  She has twice received the Dallas Museum of Art Prize for Fiction and has been awarded The John Guyon Prize in Literary Nonfiction, The Texas Institute of Letters/Kay Cattarulla Prize for the Short Story, and the Short Story Book of the Year Prize from Independent Publisher Magazine. She is faculty for the Frank McCourt/University of Limerick Summer Writing School. As a 2018 Fulbright Scholar in Ireland, she was Visiting Faculty in the M.A. Creative Writing Program at University of Limerick. She received her PhD in Creative Writing and is Assistant Professor of English/Creative Writing at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Kerry is accepting fiction and nonfiction for content critique. Please see below for fees and guidelines.

  • Flash Fiction/Nonfiction (up to 2 pages), $15
  • Short Stories/Essays (up to 20 pages), $45
  • Chapbooks (16-40 pages), $150 
  • Novels/Memoir Excerpts (up to 100 pages), $250
  • Short Story/Essay Collections (up to 180 pages), $350

All manuscripts should be formatted in 12-point font and double-spaced.

The deadline to submit work for this consultation is April 15. Kerry will complete her work and respond to all participants by May 15.
